IMPORTANT UPDATES
Last Update: 1/29/2026

1/27/2026:
Due to current weather conditions, we are unable to safely ship roaches at this time. Discoid roaches are tropical insects, and in these temperatures there is simply no way to guarantee live arrival unless both a heat pack is purchased and the order is held for pickup at the post office. Even then, this depends heavily on local conditions.Because of this, we are handling orders on an individual basis. If you have an existing order or an upcoming subscription, here are your options:1️⃣ Purchase a heat pack and select Hold for Pickup (please provide a phone number so the post office can contact you upon arrival)
2️⃣ Wait until the weather improves, which is currently looking like 6–7 days depending on location
3️⃣ Request a refund if you would prefer not to wait.
If no heat pack or hold-for-pickup option is selected, we will automatically hold your order until it is safe to ship. This decision is always made with live arrival and animal welfare in mind.If you have questions or would like to discuss your specific situation, please reach out. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this cold spell and are grateful for the trust you place in us.
1/29/2026:
We wanted to share a quick update as we continue to closely monitor the weather. Unfortunately, temperatures are only getting colder over the next few days, and at this time our first safe opportunity to ship looks to be Tuesday.
Discoid roaches are tropical insects, and in these temperatures there is simply no way to ensure survival, even with heat packs. Because of this, we will continue holding orders until conditions allow for safe transit and live arrival. For those with weekly subscriptions, please let us know how you would like to proceed. You may choose to place your subscription on hold next week and resume the following week, or have us ship both this week’s and next week’s orders together.
If you would prefer a refund instead of waiting, we completely understand. Please email us and we will be happy to take care of that for you. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding during this cold spell. Protecting the health of the roaches and ensuring live arrival is always our top priority, and we truly appreciate your continued support.
