As life goes, just when everything rolls smoothly here at Luna Roaches, someone comes along and shoves a stick in your Bike Spokes, and poof you tumble! In this particular case, it is once again the United States Postal Service who felt the need to make things more difficult for every small business owner out there and raise the shipping prices once again - but this time as added bonus they are also going to work less for their rate hike. We're still trying to wrap our heads around that idea because like... how does that even make sense?!
As you know, we've never raised our prices unless it was to accommodate the shipping charges, because after all, we're a small business and free shipping is not really free. So due to circumstances once again beyond our control, we have no choice but to charge everybody a little bit more ($1 to be exact) so we can survive as a small business in a world that seems to become increasingly more hostile towards small businesses owners (you should see the small business taxes we have to pay every year!)

We are NOT going to increase the prices of existing subscriptions because one, we can't make adjustments to those from a technical aspect, and two, we really don't want to do that to our loyal subscribers because they subscribed at a set price and that's what they are going to get from us. Any new subscriptions, however, will be subject to the price raise.

That said, we know this sucks. We really REALLY do! We could have made up the cost by cutting corners in the care of our roaches but ethically and morally this is just not who we are. Chris and I believe in our Roach Breeding, in our Roaches, and in the quality of insects we produce. We know there are cheaper options than us out there, but there is a reason you shop with us, there is a reason we're always so incredibly busy, and why our Roaches fly off the shelves as soon as we restock. We know and appreciate the support and the faith that you have in the caliber of our work and passion for these insects.
We're certain that the passion that you hold for your companion pets it's as strong as our passion for raising the best possible food source and that it transcends a price increase.
