As we get done with today's shipping we're looking at our stock and inventory and this last onslaught of orders has put a huge dent into our inventory. Add to that the Breeders have slowed down and we have no choice but to remove all roaches from stock until our inventory recovers. This is NOT a decision we made lightly. As a small business we know that this may well have a devastating effect on our customer base as well as on us, but know that we're doing everything we can to get our winged to breed and our juveniles to grow.
So what does this mean for you?Existing Subscriptions will be fulfilled. We made a promise when you subscribed and we intend to keep that! So for you, nothing changes. You can still expect your subscription order to be delivered. We will also still ship all current orders out that have been made thus far. We will however not accept any new purchases or subscriptions until said time.
We expect to be back to semi-normal operations by the third week of March if all goes well. That gives our roaches a month to get their act together to breed and grow. It will also help that the weather improves and hopefully the natural spring cycle of "That lovin' feeling" will kick in although I am convinced playing Marvin Gaye in the Barn helped as well.
In closing we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you but we can't make them breed any faster, unfortunately.
I was going to suggest a few other vendors but they appear to be suffering the same slow down as we are. In the meantime, show your local vendors some love. We have some people offering here
Thank you for understanding and hopefully, we'll see you again after we're back in stock!Best,Mel & Chris
